The Consequences of Inflation and Massive Debt
The last time we had this much debt sloshing around in the world, nothing can go wrong with governments in control of something like that. And what's going on is that we are now in a world where the debt is so large that it's now really impossible for us to grow our way out of that debt. The consequence of inflation and massive debt is that income and wealth inequality grows enormously. I want my portfolio to be dominated by US large cap quality companies. That's what makes these principles, which work during ordinary times, so much more difficult to implement effectively today.
