What's the Biggest Disavowal?
I'm very interested in this psychological concept called disavowal. One of the things that i think happens with unmanning is that says to us, unmanning, there's no man. But what becomes immediately apparent is there is definitely a man right there behind it. And that's specifically gendered. Ah, i think in an important way. Riht, they're not unwomened aircraft aof course, to day, many of the operators are women. Am, and but i think we might ask ourselves this question about what kind of masculinity, what kind of imagined human is behind these technological systems.
