In the early 1980s, Richard Dennis put out an ad for students to learn his trading methods. He selected a wide range of people from all walks of life and political leanings. The experiment proved that success in the markets is still perceived by many as a virtual IQ caste system. It's hard to imagine this legend has built up over the years but it should have taken more effort than Dennis allowed.
