Some analysts think that this problem could worsen a little bit. There's two trends at play here for builders. One is that homes under construction, we're up 14% year over year. Two is that investor purchases are already down and increasing rates just makes financing those homes even harder. And also, by the way, since you brought up rents, that's a crisis of its own. So we're seeing skyrocketing rent prices across the nation.
