Is There a Future for Machine Learning in the Cloud?

We're still trying to figure out what melops looks like with quantum involved. I hear a lot about potential futures of hybrid computers elsewhere, potentially available theot the cloud. But on the physical side, i think we're going to be very limited. Maybe not now, maybe in a hundred, 200 years, but in 50 years it still makes sense to keep traditional silicon processors on those sorts of things.
