The Importance of Media Literacy

Nigeria's president says media literacy is being able to educate yourself on how media operates and understanding that media all almost always has an agenda. Exposing your kids to the television, radio or social media without first educating them on media literacy would be a mistake he said. He added: "You should now ask yourself, what is this agenda? Because they're going to tell you this is our agenda"
