The Conquest of the Banu Hanifa in the Month of Shahwal

Thumama was the chieftain of the Banu Hanifa tribe in central Arabia. Thumama had publicly threatened to kill the process if he ever could because he is of the enemy tribe banu Hanifa. The companions did not recognize him and the Prophet recognized him obviously Allah told him through jubreem this is Thumama ibn Asal. On that evening the Prophet ﷺ told his wives to send his own food to Thumama as a symbolic gesture it's a token.
