In the long holl i'm there, the efforts to get control over their own lives is having good outcomes after lots of bumps and and ups and down through their colonial history. I wonder if you could give us some examples of that. Where do we see aboriginal agency in situations like missions or all kinds of oppressive systems? Well, i one of the first er farm settlements. It wasn't an official mission, but it was a government station an victoria. Was called coranderk. The goverment hadn't had an aboriginal policy for ten years. In the 18 50 so they they realized something had to be done.
