Are You That Pessimistic or Do You Have a Rosier View of the State of Science?

In some ways, i think we're losing good researchers because of the incentive system. I've seen a lot of good researchers not staying in research as they didn't get that big paper. We're kind of disenfranchising those really good researchers. And if you build an edifice of knowledge on really rotten foundations, then the demolition process is going to set you back a long time too. In the fornt, i think itsjust important to remember that knowledge takes a lot of work.
