Kemper Mullin was on the run from police for 11 months before he killed two women in santa cruz, California. He picked up hitch ikers and drove them to other parts of the country where they were murdered. The killing spree continued three months after one girl's disappearance. In 19 72, a ghoulish discovery is made at loma prieta mountain near Santa Cruz. A decapitated head and skull are found next to some bones so they'd been there for quite some time.
