The Relationship Between Death and Glory
In the transfiguration of Christ, you see this strange duality, this strange aporia, what seems like a contradiction. And on the other hand, you have this notion that the disciples are overshadowed by a cloud, a cloud of light. So it's this impossible bringing together of darkness, of confusion and chaos, because in the text it talks about them also being confused, but also light, which is radiating out of Christ. In many languages, the word for crown and the word for horn, that is the horns of an animal, they're the same words. You can even hear it horn, crown. There are many examples of this relationship between death and glory.
