Arjuna's Proposal to Chitranga
Arjuna, son of the great Guru King Pandu visited many holy places and pilgrimages on his way to Manipura. While strolling through the charming parks he saw a gorgeous woman riding a horse past by. He asked a passerby who is this lovely maiden? The man smiled and said, oh, that is Chitranga the daughter of our king Chitrabana. Arjuna walked away, but he couldn't get the image off his mind. Her poise, her strength and her masculine demeanor was strangely attractive. After taking his leave from Ulupe, Arjuna continued his journey towards the east.
