What Do You Take From the Oral Arguments?
Philip Klein: It's absolutely the framing of like states as vulnerable, right? States as possibly subject to coercion, vis-a-vis the federal government. He says there actually did seem to be skepticism on the part of more justices than one might expect towards the defendant petitioner's argument. Klein: The fact that the Supreme Court agreed to hear it in the first place says something about this court's disposition.
