The Importance of Pragmatatism in Dynamic Languages
In languages like Ruby, you never depend on anything more than the method you're calling. The methods declared in a class are not part of what you depend upon when you send a message to an object. So dynamic languages automatically obey the interface segregation principle and obey it in the most extreme way possible. There's an elegant pragmatism to that.
