Is Scenario Analysis Good?
I'm on the second hand side of this. scenario analysis is good, right ime. You could serve say, here's our picture, our narrative picture of what the world looks like with our regulation and without it. But i think we can find a way that is going to lead to rigorous and thoughtful policy o valuation. That doesn't hinge on the fo ob objectivity of putting a number on every cost in every benefit. I've critique crosponifit analysis for being just mucking up the administrative process. On the other hand, i've said, whell, here are some academic approaches toa, to doing policy evaluation which may themselves take up some time.
