The Social Fabric of a Ship After a Mutiny

James Davy: It's difficult to think about the social fabric of a ship after a mutiny has occurred. He says crews remained quite divided and that sailors who had testified in a court martial against a sailor would be sort of ostracized by their mess mates. After 1801 and 1802, as we enter the Napoleon it was, sailors seem much less willing to use mutiny for political ends he says.
