What's the Level of Math and Stats Required to Get Monitoring Right?

What's the level of math and statistics required to get monitoring right for our projects? So we've spoken about data drift. I believe there are some level of math or stats you need to be able to know for you guys, estimate those properly or detect those. None of this is like pure math or set theory or even calculus,. This is all statistics, probability theory that you can learn in your undergrad statistics.
