This comes as the newly installed manhattan district attorney, alvan bragg, has expressed doubts about his ability to bring a case specifically against the former president. Aaron wilsonand: If they resigned because they were not happy with the direction that the d a brag was leaning in, that would signal very bad news for a criminal prosecution. But even if the man district attorney does not bring criminal charges against the former President, he still faces legal jeopardy in the state of new york.
