I look at my career in kind of three chunks. There's the pre- Morningstar chunk of being an economist, working in econ consulting. Then I had the period where I was with Morningstar Inc,. doing research and just soaking things up. And then I moved into the money management part of my career. Each of those steps is a very different role. And you're looking at different things and experiencing different things.
