Introduction

Romans 8, 28 is one of the most well-known and most loved promises in all the Bible. Many people think it means something like a lake behind every cloud there's a rainbow or when God closes a door, He opens a window. This promise is not saying that if you have a bad life circumstance, it's going to be okay because a good life circumstance is going to come out of it. If you think it is, you're only going to find yourself experiencing spiritual confusion and pain. It's not up to you to arrange the circumstances of your life for good.
