Un-Words and Adjectives
The Oxford English Dictionary 2018 update gave nearly 300 unplus adjective combinations. Nouns with un are usually derived from adjectives, so they carry the sense of not. Curiously, in a handful of words, un seems unnecessary, but shows up anyway. Unthaw, meaning to thaw out, is attested as early as 1700.
