The Importance of Religion and Islam in Afghanistan
I want to talk a bit now about religion, because one of the aspects of this story that gets talked a lot about is religious fundamentalism. Is it reductive to see this as being a key and sor of recurring part of this history? I'm i don't think that there's any question that certainly religion and islam have played an important role in nhistory,. but it's not in any sort of singular form.
