Elephants Are More Emotional Than Human Beings
You first became interested in elephants, people whohad worked with them for a long time. And also finding them quite eccentric and tempestuous. When they met, it was the most marvellous sow of total new year's eve family reunion - as if they'd been apart for years. They rush together, twirl their trunks together, up roar, urinate, defocate, flap their ears. The whole thing says that each individual is overcome with excitement. You know, you speak about elephantss as being quite emotional, as I learned early on.
