Cake, a Symbol of Refutation

In the nineteenth century, people in denmark ate cake to show their rejection of the country's pruss occupies. Cakes are served as what is confusingly called the coffee board. It was taken up as a symbol of southern uteland and an act against oppression. Danes from other regions of denmark have come to take part in this historical version of what feels like a cake eating contest.
