Samuel Judged the Sons of Israel at Mizpah
When the philistines heard that the sons of isre had gathered at mispah, they went up against israel. So samuel took a suckling lamb and offered it as a whole burnt offering to the lord. And he said: hitherto the lord has helped us. The Philistines were subdued and did not again enter the territory of israel. There was peace also between israel and the amorites.
