Bringing Shame to the Family
Respect for your family is considered a high virtue in chinese culture. To have a society that focuses on producing good, you need to have people that are family oriented. The r c m p was getting a first hand view of all of that, all of that culture, right in front of their eyes. It's literally what it sounds like. I think we're being brainwashed by parents.
