The Interview
00:00
Introduction
The aborted mutiny against President Putin was the biggest challenge to him since he came to power in 1999. Wagner's leader, Evgeny Pragogen, had set off the Moscow with thousands of his fighters on what he described as a march for justice. His actions exposed weaknesses in Putin's authority and set off speculation on what a post-Putin Russia would be like. My guest is dissident Russian journalist Mikhail Ziger who has spent years studying the Kremlin. Can he work out what is going on in Putin's inner circle and what it means for Russia's future?
