Drums - I'm a Drummer, and I've Got a Right Hand Technique, and a Left Hand Thing.

A lot of people focus on a specific lick or a specific hand technique, until they'll sit down on the drum set and play this 15 second phrase. And it's like people ar just can't see the forests for the trees when it comes to drums now. So basically, e every time i'm trying to er, like working on only phrases and telling a story. For me, it's just a phrase, like talking. You have inside the phrase some notes that are quiter. That's, that's the phrase. Its tabit bit, it gitgotact. Is it not a main phrase with few more phrases underneath? It's confusing. I just have like one phrase
