The Threat of Litigation

I think that the threat of litigation would cause a consortium to exist within the big companies going we're going to regulate ourselves because we actually know what we're talking about. Every single time I've covered a congressional hearing regarding technology it has been it's not gone well let's go with that anyway. "It's just been a bunch of befuddled people who have no idea how technology works and I fear for what they might unintentionally put in these bills"
