Are One Night Stands a Healthy Sexual Culture?
Women rarely orgasm during one night stands. They might do it to prove that they're not approved because they feel it's expected. And yes, maybe everyone's consenting but actually is this a healthy sexual culture? I don't think so. For girls who are suffering all the risks associated with these encounters which are sometimes violent and can result in unwanted pregnancies. Women are more likely to experience pain during sex in one night stands than they are to experience an orgasm,. So just on a purely physical level, the odds are terrible... On a social level, you know, there is potentially some social status to be had in feeling desirable, feeling wanted. There's that little self-esteem boost.
