I disagree strongly with Nick that you must just trust an advisor. What is the evidence that this advising community, whoever they might be in this big amorphous mass called the advising community? I want to play an excerpt that I heard from investor Carl Icahn. Who is going to buy US stocks when those earnings start coming down? And that's with blow interest rates, which I think is another scary issue. No rate hike from the Federal Reserve leaves the funds rate unchanged at a range of zero to a quarter percent. It also cites global economic weakness. The question is, why should they raise rates? And it's almost a rhetorical question. There's so many reasons they should raise rates
