How to Treat a Fracture in Elderly Patients
The Copangi Introphocal Technique involves K-Wires that are placed dorcely into the fracture and used as reduction tools until they are driven into the proximal radius. Complications specific to this treatment include Radial Sensory Nerve Injury and Pintract Infections. The Volar Lunate Fissette Fragments may require fragment specific fixation to prevent early postoperative failure. Be sure to assess the intra-articular screws with a 23 degree elevated lateral view.
