Taylor Swift's Tour Is Shattering Records

The first leg of Taylor Swift's era's tour has finally come to a close and she revealed that her next album, 1989, will be released in October. In 20 cities, more than 40 songs each night, across three and a half hours, Taylor Swift has belted out, danced and strummed her way to history. Concert goers are spending an average of about $1,300 each per show that includes tickets, travel, outfits, merchandise and food. Overall the tour is expected to generate $5 billion for local economies more than the GDP of 50 countries.
