The Range of Training Commitment Hours for Part-Time Poll Workers
In some states, the Secretary of States or the Chief Election Office will provide online training modules that counties can adopt for training their poll workers if they choose. In other states, training is mandatory at the state level, but maybe it's only a few hours or a day. It really does vary by state and in some cases by municipality. But we still consider it to be a best practice for that training to come from the election office itself whenever possible.
