The United Nations Credentials Committee

In the next few months, we will likely have a fight at the credentials committee of the general assemblyof the united nations. It's not clear to what extent there are remnants of the ashafgani government still claiming to represent afghanistan and certifying this person as their representative. We'll see how credible they are when this debate kind o comes to the fore. The real question will be, well, if you get to a forcing moment, itwill look like something like either major negotiations break through or some sort of other major crises occur.
