The RFU issued a statement today, we'll detailing his many achievements as a player and coach. Tom Tierney was Ireland's from half of the 1999 Ruppy World Cups. He played across multiple teams during his playing career,. Most famously with his home province of Munster. But he also played in England with the Leicester Tigers before moving to Galwegians. Also been coaching with the RFU since 2014 - perhaps best known after 2015 Women's Six Nations Championship success.
