Nomads - What Is the Definition of the Word?

Nomad means somebody going in search of pasture, and therefore a herder. It goes right back to the very early days of the split between farmers who settled and those who moved around for their herds. The first train of domesticated wheat was discovered about 25 miles from gobelitepe. This is seven thousand years before the pyramids or the stone henge that we have now. So it's incredibly early in terms of building monuments.
