The idea that cases, COVID cases have now become decoupled from deaths is not true. The president's structural role in the American political economy is baked into what he can do. Ben Mazr has a sub stack now and his most recent piece was like public health is too political. Well, that's clown shit. Like I'm like public health, the NIH, the CDC,. like the CDC is a political body. The head of it is appointed by the president. It was the dumbest thing in the world to say that public health is like two at this point.
