The Ends Justifies the Means
Miscavige: Hubbard thought he was brilliant by showing everyone what he had come up with. That's an example that shows that he believes. He promised a bunch of ridiculous things that he had never accomplished with Dianetics. And I believe he justified it by going, Hey, if I can get people to adopt this thing by promising them the Sun Moon and stars, but all they get is this, I've still been helpful to people in general.
