What Route Did Hannibal Take?
We don't really know which pass hannibal used, but experts have distilled it down into two different passes. One is the calle de la traversette, and one is the call the clapier. There's some good evidence from this that there was an army going through there at around the same time. We'd have to do a little bit more work, i think, on some of the other passes. But both passes are over two thousand meters and both passes would be a significant challenge for an army that he's carrying with him.
