The Importance of Voice Input Mechanisms
The biggest issue with input mechanisms is like before touch screens, we had hardware keyboards and like Steve Jobs famously said, like you can't add a button or whatever. It kind of sucks that even though we have the most advanced computer in our pocket right now with a touch screen where you can basically do whatever you want, we still use the same keyboard for every single situation. I think getting direct neural input will be a very close second of getting direct neural output or maybe even drive it. That'd be really intriguing. Stimulate the brain directly instead of focusing on external senses. Maybe in five years, we only communicate through stickers and you have a bunch of stickers. Like Japan.
