Afghanistan's Complex. Right?
I think liberals and the left could agree they really are the enemy. I don't think anybody could let go of that. And it's the same as Saddam Hussein when he was fighting Iran. The French gave them the chemical weapons because Iran was seen as the more threatening problem. But there has never been anything close to any sort of real reckoning with the true monstrosity and criminality of the wars.
