How to Create Value in Your Community
I was hosting weekly office hours and it started off good and well attended. Attended started to wane a little bit over time. I asked folks, why aren't you coming to office hours anymore? And what I realized was that event wasn't scarce because it's happening every week. It wasn't clear what value I would get out of it as an attendee. So I did fewer office hours and started doing more hot seats. Those were getting a lot of feedback,. both from the people who were the hot seat subject, got a lot out of it. And then people watching the recordings were getting a lots out of it too.
