In your book, you argue that new liberalism was actually about encasing or protecting markets from democratic control. Since the 19 seventies there has been a proliferation of legal instruments to push trade in one way and not others. So this pushes us away from the idea of neo liberalism as d regulation, which i think is really misleading.
