Passover - The Blood of a Substitute
In the bible, circumcision is a form of sacrifice. The avenger of blood attacks moses son because he hasn't been circumcised. But as they draw near, then they need to get him circumcised. And zapora, some reason, moses is away, and she does it. She takes the blood and smears it on the boys legs to make it visible to god. This is kind of a prophesied passover. It's a message that moses will carry with him down into egypt,. That god will meet them, and god will seek to kill their children unless they have t blood of a substitute made visible.
