The Importance of Union With Christ
30% of people who apply for membership in our church leave the resurrection out. They just don't mention it, right? And I think that's probably because evangelicals have not thought deeply or well about the doctrine of union with Christ. Once you kind of get that and see it, you see why the resurrection is integral. If Jesus had remained dead, then all the branches connected to the vine would have remained dead also.
