The Impact of Affirmative Action on Black and Hispanic Students
Evidence from states where affirmative action or race based affirmative action was banned suggests seven out of 10 selective colleges were able to get as much black and Hispanic representation as they had in the past using race. The three outliers are the ones that everyone has talked about, University of Michigan, UCLA, and UC Berkeley. "You're fighting for talented black and Hispanic students with one, one arm tied behind your back," says John Avlon.
