Using Atomicity in Multi Threaded Programming
In the database world with acid, atomicity has nothing to do with concurrency. They don't care about if there are multiple processes trying to write to a piece of data that's covered under isolation. That's a totally separate part of the acid description. It does talk about what should happen if there's a fault when performing multiple writes. And then what do they have here? Oh, yeah. This is just going back to the, hey, if everything happened properly, commit it. If it didn't, then roll it back,. Like that's that is the atomicity on this whole thing.
