14 years ago, the rich world pledged to pay $100 billion a year by 2020 for the Green Climate Fund. It's mobilized only a tenth of that. The IMF estimates that now we need trillions of dollars a year for climate protection and adaptation. Africa alone needs $3 trillion within the next seven years.
