House of the Dragon was watched by 25 million people globally in its first day. Game of Thrones prequel had 10 million or so viewers on its first day and definitely more than 20 million that House of the Dragon had in its total first week. "It is never going to be an apples to apples comparison unless we entirely change and rectify how companies are allowed to report their numbers," says David Bianculli.
